Biossance: Digital & Print
As the senior copywriter at Biossance, I owned the voice of the clean skincare brand and worked on campaigns for product launches, named products, and wrote packaging copy. I wore many hats, functioning as both the copy lead and proofreader while leading a team of two freelance copywriters.
Holiday 2019 campaign
For the campaign, the idea was to drive excitement for gifting clean beauty in an uplifting way. I created the handle “All Is Clean, All Is Bright” to set the tone for the season, and campaign copy focused on how our skincare sets were versatile enough to gift to just about anyone on the list. Additionally, I named the new holiday sets that came out that year.
Holiday messaging
As we rolled out our campaign, I shifted the messaging so that it encouraged customers to shop for gifts for their loved ones while giving them permission to treat themselves to clean beauty. Each set a unique group of products, so every email also laid out the skincare benefits, particularly for winter.
PRODUCT NAMING
For this project, the product designer and I collaborated with the artist Janice Sung. We worked to bring her artwork and the inspiration behind it to this holiday gift set.
To give it more of a collector’s box feel, I named this limited-edition set the “Radiant Beauty Collection” and wrote product story copy for it that lived on the inside of the lid.
